Power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone – who welcomed their first child on September 8, 2024, have just announced their daughter’s name on social media. The couple – who featured in the just-released cop actioner Singham Again, took to their Instagram handles on the occasion of Diwali, and revealed their daughter’s beautiful name and reason for naming her so.

A while ago, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to social media and revealed the name of their daughter. The new parents took to Instagram and shared a joint post featuring the feet of their baby girl resting on a red saree. Their baby girl is seen dressed in a cute red ethnic ensemble complete with an embroidered border in gold and peach thread.

Ranveer and Deepika simply captioned their post, “Dua Padukone Singh | दुआ पादुकोण सिंह” Their caption further read, “‘Dua’: meaning a Prayer. Because She is the Answer to our Prayers. Our hearts are filled with Love & Gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer“

Fans, acquaintances and followers of the new parents took to the comments section of the couple’s joint post to bestow love and blessings on their little angel. Actress Alia Bhatt too took the comments section and dropped several red hearts for the couple and their daughter.

The couple – who tied the knot in November 2018, were blessed with a beautiful baby girl after 5 years of marriage.
